If you’ve ever visited Ehow.com before, you probably thought of it as a helpful source for how-to guides and information. But did you know that a large portion of those articles have been written by work at home people who are making money from them? Recently, Ehow launched its new “Writer’s Compensation Program,” which actually pays article writers for their informative content. From what I can see, this is a great way to start making some extra money at home. Below are the steps to get started!
- Sign Up for an Ehow account by clicking Here.
- Think of an interesting how-to article to write. It’s better if it is a topic that hasn’t been written about before, and is common enough that people will visit it. Remember, the more visits you’re how-to article receives, the better.
- Write the article and submit it.
- Ehow pays per article. According to their site, your article’s earning potential is based on, “a combination of several elements, including the amount of times it’s been viewed and its category. The more useful your articles are to the reader, the more money you could make.”
- You get paid by Paypal!
Remember, make your articles as interesting and fun to read as possible. Below are a few extra tips that might help your articles.
- Try to appeal to a broad audience. The more people who find interest in the topic you are writing about, the more visits your article will receive.
- Write about things that you have experience in.
- Add pictures as aids.
- Consider creating and adding a video.
- Use Spell Check!
- Make sure to correctly categorize your article.
Good Luck & Have Fun!

Hey Everybody!
I just found another interesting job opportunity on the Problogger Job Board that I would like to share with you all.
Do you enjoy debating or having back-and-forth exchanges with friends? If so, Dyalogues, an online debate and review website, might have a great opportunity for you. They are looking for writers who are able to write point-counterpoint exchanges with friends/people they know. (Additionally they would like you to have a non-sponsored blog.)
Here are some of the listed examples of what they are looking for:
Example #1 (Politics)
Example #2 (Books)
The steps and requirements for this job include:
- Creating a profile on Dyalogue, with bio, identity, pictures, and links to your blogs
- Deciding on a topic for discussion, (which then must be approved.) (Topics shouldn’t be overly specific, personal or explicit/obscene.
- Inviting another blogger to debate with. You must then write a 100 wd. intro, and 100-200 wd. “opening statement.”
- Debate/Have the conversation
- Write a minimum of 3 exchanges (3 posts per blogger) with a minimum of 750 words total per each blogger. The exchange must have a completion, with one of the blogger writing in their final post that it is their final post, and the other blogger making a final reply.
- That’s it!
Upon completion, Dyalogue will pay you $10 via Paypal, which they recommend, (but do not require) that you share with the other blogger.
Dyalogue is looking for interesting, insightful debates. If you are interested, visit the link below and scroll down to the “How To Apply Area.”
Good Luck!
