Review of Elance.com

Published by ejobtips at 11:33 pm under Freelance Edit This

If you have done any freelance work then chances are you have heard of Elance.com. Today, I am going to discuss my experience with this company. To start off with, Elance.com is a website that you can go to for finding freelance work. It is great for people who write articles and are looking for high paying clients to work for. I heard about Elance from a reader, so I decided to give it a try. After I signed up, the site required that I take a test to make sure that I was aware of how to navigate and use Elance. They provide helpful FAQ’s that they said I should study before taking the test, but in truth their questions are common sense ones and I don’t really require much thought. After passing the test, I was allowed to start bidding for work. Their site is quite easy to navigate, and I had no problems at all bidding. In general the only thing that is not good about Elance, in my opinion, is its customer service. It was impossible to get someone over the phone, so I tried to email their support a question. According to the site, all questions are answered within twenty four hours. So far I haven’t received a response back. Other than that, Elance seems to be a great way to get started making money at home. I definitely recommend trying it!

This is one that I LOVE, the only thing I hate is you pay a monthly fee in order to bid and when you get a job and get paid they take a fee from that as well. But other than that it can keep you pretty busy.

homemom3- Thanks for commenting! Also, thank-you for mentioning the monthly fees as well as the payment fee, since I forgot to talk about that in the post.
