Review of Clickbank.com

Published by ejobtips at 11:25 pm under Affiliate Programs, Blogging Edit This

This week I’m going to do a review of the affiliate program known as Clickbank.com. I previously mentioned Clickbank in my Monetizing Your Blog post, but I think that I might have been a little too harsh on the company, and should go more in depth into what I like and don’t like about Clickbank. To start off, Clickbank is a great company which makes it easy to earn money through your blog/website. I have never been cheated by them, and always received my payments on time. The only big problem I have with Clickbank is its clients. If the company could only find more professional clients I would feel a lot easier recommending them. While affiliate networks such as Commission Junction and PepperJam have big name clients with reliable products, including Dell, Lending Tree, Yahoo, Adobe, Expedia, Apple, Monster, Staples, and DKNY, Clickbank on the other hand mainly seems to have shadier companies which specialize in Get Rich Quick and Weight Loss products. Not that those are bad, but just think about it. What products do you think would be easier to promote, Apple’s Ipods or some unknown company’s product which will let you make money while you sleep. If you can get past that and be successful at promoting their products, then Clickbank would be the perfect program for you, but for the average blogger/website owner, in my opinion it would be better to try out other programs first.
