Recently, I have been receiving a lot of emails about a work at home company known as Chacha. For those of you who do not know, Chacha was a search engine, (similar to Google,) except that unlike regular search engines, Chacha’s employees do all of the work for you. For example, say you wanted to find a few websites with articles on training dogs. All you would have to do is say that you were looking for dog training websites, and the Chacha employees “guides” would search for the articles for you, and then provide you with links to websites with the content you are looking for. At least, that is how Chacha worked when they first started out. When I worked for Chacha, it was still in beta phase, and let me say that the experience was not a good one. Most of the searches were done by pranksters who just wanted to make us search for vulgar things. In addition, many guides complained about not receiving their payments. After a while, I just decided to leave. Recently though, Chacha has taken a turn for the better. It now is a search engine for people with cell phones. If someone has a question, they just have to send a text message to Chacha and then get a reply back. This has greatly cut down on the amount of spammers, and from what I have heard Chacha now treats its guides better. This is why I think that Chacha is a great new work at home company to work for. To work for Chacha, all you usually have to do is just apply, and then if you are accepted, you will be given a series of tests. This will include an IQ test as well as a test on how well you can navigate the web. Don’t worry, even though the test appears difficult when you are taking them, they are actually very easy to pass. Testing can usually be completed in one sitting. If you finally become an employee, you get paid for answering people’s questions. What could be an easier job than that?
