What do you do when call volume is slow or you just need a quick break from your work at home job? Well, I recently discovered Moola.com, a fun (but frustrating) way to make money online. Unlike other money makers, you make money on Moola by playing games against other players and betting the amount to win. Here’s how it works. Moola starts off your account by giving you one penny. Wow, I know that’s not much, but wait. When playing a game, you get a choice to go double or nothing with that penny. If you win, then you have two pennies. Say you win again, that’s 4. When you see their website, it is easy to see how you can easily keep doubling your money until you have a significant sum. When (or if) you reach $10, you can cash out, or keep playing for up to more than $10 million dollars. I know what you are thinking- Isn’t online gambling illegal? Well, according to Moola, their way isn’t, since unlike regular gambling sites, you DO NOT actually have to put in your own money, but instead start off with a penny from Moola. Moola then makes its own money by periodically showing ads to us, the users. The company seems pretty reliable with big name advertisers from all over the United States. After I played a few rounds, I got up to about $3, and then quickly lost it all. To me, Moola is a frustrating game that I cannot gain any headway with. Still, though there are only a limited amount of games, they are fun and slightly addicting. Next time you’re bored, check Moola out!

How would you like to be able to get paid for calling soon to be parents? Well, this is exactly what working at Babytobee is like. Basically, you are paid usually a set amount per hour to go over different free offers that companies are willing to give to the parents. This is not spam or telemarketing, as all of the people who are being called have either signed up themselves to be called, or have been submitted by a friend. From what I have heard, the pay with Babytobee is about $10/hour, which is pretty good for working at home. Pay is currently weekly by direct deposit.
You can visit their website here:

As far as I can tell, your best chances of getting the job are by emailing this person who works for the company:

Good Luck!

If you prefer the idea of working for yourself instead of working for a work at home business, then freelancing is definitely an option to check out. With this job, the first thing that you would need to do is to join a freelance member site. Here are some of the sites that I have heard great reviews from:
http://www.odesk.com
http://www.elance.com
http://www.guru.com
After signing up, the next thing to do is to decide what area you are going to specialize in. (These will be the types of jobs that you will take.) Some popular jobs right now include: language translation, article writing, website design, programming, logo design, and personal assistants.
The next thing to do is to start looking at jobs in your category. When you find a job that you are interested in, the next thing to do will be to place a bid on the job. This basically is the lowest you are willing to be paid for the job. Keep in mind that at first you will not have any reputation, so it might be good to do jobs at a lower price than you would normally do. After placing the bid, you will just have to wait and see if it is accepted. If it is, then what usually happens next is that the employer will go over some of the benchmarks that they expect from you. And that is pretty much it! Once you complete your job, you will wait until the employer deposits the amount that you are to be paid into an escrow account, and then you give them their work, and the money is released to you. If you think that you would enjoy this type of job, then give it a try! Good Luck!

Though I have said many times that I dislike taking surveys, I have heard of many people who do enjoy taking them, so today I am going to review one of the few reliable survey companies which I did not include in my previous post. Pinecone Research (http://www2.pineconeresearch.com/) was a great survey company which usually sends its users a survey once a month or more. Though you probably will only be able to buy yourself a cup of coffee with this kind of money, it still is nice to have a little extra cash in the pocket
. Unlike most survey companies which usually only offer an entry into a sweepstakes as a reward for 30 minutes or more of your time Pinecone Research pays every survey. Here’s where the problem is: At first, Pinecone Research was paying $5 per survey, which is o.k. for 25 minutes of work. Now though, it is only $3 per survey plus entry into a sweepstakes. Not as nice. Still, another great thing about this company is that they actually send you things to try. This was my favorite part of the company, but since the drop to $3, I just haven’t had time to work with them. Still, if you are interested, here is where the catch comes. You can’t just go to their website and sign up. No, instead you have to find a banner on other websites advertising their company and then click on it to sign up. (Which basically means that you might never find a banner to sign up.) Don’t give up hope though- There is a loophole. The website below usually has the most current links to sign up! I would post them here, but apparently the links only work when they are clicked from that website. Enjoy!

So you get accepted into a phone order processing company, (in my case Liveops), and you suddenly are told that you are going to have to find a phone to use for taking their calls. But, there’s a catch! The phone has to have no caller id, no hold, no call waiting, no answering machine (basically no additional functions.) But, at the same time it has to have a port that you can plug a headset into, so that your hands are free for typing. Well, I thought that this was going to be easy to find a phone like this. Turns out it isn’t
. Circuit City-No, Walmart-Nope, Staples-Well yes, but it’s extremely expensive (Like over $100!). Finally, after lots of searching, I found that there are a few phones that other agents love to use (and aren’t too expensive!) So, if you are new to ACD Direct, Liveops, West at Home, or any other work at home company, I’m going to make it easy for you to find the perfect phone for you. I’m going to list them along with the current prices. Some are a little expensive, but they also are the best of quality and ease of use. All of the phones below can be ordered off of Amazon through the link next to it at a much cheaper cost than in-store. (The price listed is the price of the item from Amazon. Keep in mind though that if you order the item from an Amazon merchant (clicking the used & new section of the item) the item sometimes is even a lot cheaper than it is from Amazon. For example, when I looked, the $75.24 phone, in the new and used section was selling at $30! That’s $40 less than what Amazon is selling it for. Enjoy!
